This special recognition award is made in honour and in memory of Phil Hobday, the creative force behind many of the UK Government’s most trusted and recognisable communications. As a designer and creative director, Phil transformed public sector design through leadership, innovation and unwavering standards and helped to set the standards for creativity in government communications.

Phil’s contribution to the team, organisation and government communication is sorely missed.

The Inside Out® Awards were originally created in 2013 to champion, celebrate, and recognise the business impact of in-house creative teams on their brands, and a decade on, they have become a go-to destination for in-house creative teams to celebrate and showcase their work.
