We all know how important branding is when it comes to business. But have you ever thought about how important building your own personal brand is?
Communicating to others who you are, what you stand for, and what you can offer is a key component of being a leader. Those who have a strong personal brand are better equipped to communicate their vision, inspire others, and get a target audience onside.
In this one-off session, we will be joined by two special guests. Inside Out® Advisor Kevin Frank will share his experience and insights on creative leadership best practices. While Dan O’Connell, In-House Creative Leader at Allwyn (National Lottery) will reflect on his journey working with Kevin to build his personal brand.

- How to enlist others throughout the process / keeping you honest.
- How to use a Personal Brand / Application (social media, etc).

About our speakers
Kevin Frank, Creative Leader, Coach and Mentor
Kevin Frank is an independent creative leader. Most recently, he was Executive Creative Director of LinkedIn, where his team was named Advertising Age In-House Agency of the Year and he was named to Campaign’s 40 over 40 list.
Prior to Linkedin, he was a Creative Director at Apple and held creative positions in agencies, including being the first copywriter at Venables, Bell and Partners.
Kevin has shared his thoughts on creative leadership in forums including Muse By Clio, Advertising Age, and Real Creative Leadership, and his work has been recognised by every major awards show, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD, Communication Arts, and the Effies.
Dan O’Connell, Creative and Design Lead, Allwyn (National Lottery)
Dan O’Connell has accumulated a wealth of experience in the creative and design field, starting his career as a Freelancer in 2007 before transitioning to roles at CTP Digital, Two’s Company, Barley House Agency, Howell Penny, and finally Camelot.
Dan has worked in various capacities, such as Graphic Designer, Art Director, Senior Designer, Senior Creative, and ultimately as the Creative & Design Lead at Camelot from 2019 onwards.
