In this thought-provoking session, Inside Out Advisor Lucy Hobbs will share compelling stories and insights into the experiences of neurodivergent individuals in the creative and tech industries.

She will explore how small changes and commitment to neuro-inclusivity can make a huge difference to teams that pride themselves on creativity and an alternative perspective.

The session will cover:

  • What is Neurodiversity?
    An introduction to the concept of neurodiversity, exploring its origins, key terminology, and the evolution of the movement up to the present day.
  • Why Embracing Neurodiversity Matters
    A discussion on the importance of inclusion and equality, highlighting the unique strengths and contributions of neurodivergent individuals and the benefits of fostering neurodiverse workplaces.
  • The Reality: Challenges Faced by Neurodivergent Individuals
    An honest look at the barriers and obstacles neurodivergent people encounter in the workplace, from bias to lack of support and understanding.
  • Becoming More (Neuro)Inclusive
    Practical strategies and actionable steps to create an inclusive environment that supports neurodivergent employees and allows them to thrive.

This event is open to everyone. Wherever you are in your in-house creative leadership journey this event will provide some valuable insights into neurodiversity, and how to create a level playing field for different cognitive needs within your teams.

Lucy Hobbs

Lucy is an AuDHD Creative Director, ND Consultant and Founder of The Future is ND.

Before founding the first ever neurodivergent network in the creative and tech industries, Lucy worked as a freelance creative for a variety of well known agencies and brands for 3 decades. Lucy advocates through a programme of regular events, consultancy work and creative projects – to educate and inform organisations and society on how better to understand, embrace and empower a more neurodiverse workforce and world.
