Background
Lucy is an AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) Creative Director and Founder of The Future is ND- a platform that champions and empowers neurodiversity in the creative and tech industries.
After discovering her neurodivergence late in her career, initially Lucy wouldn’t disclose for fear of stigma and discrimination. Everything changed when she spoke openly at an industry conference in 2018, and realised the need to keep talking and encourage others to do so; to collectively smash stigma, and celebrate the strengths of neurodivergent creatives. So, The Future is ND was born.
Drawing from her lived experience of working as an undiagnosed ND in a typically unforgiving industry for 20 years, Lucy brings empathy and expertise to ND employees and leaders, empowering them to succeed in the workplace with skills including how to self advocate, understand The Equality Act 2010 and their rights, apply to Access to Work and request adjustments from their employers.
