Janet Markwick
Janet works with executive leaders and their teams to build innovative, successful commercial solutions to business problems. Focused on understanding the business, Janet drives learning and transformation programmes that turn business strategic objectives into profitable growth outcomes.
Janet is a former CFO and Chief Commercial Officer at both leading consumer brands, WPP agencies, and independent production companies. Janet is NED for Creative UK, which champions the work and growth of the creative industries across the UK and the world.
Rhona & Janet are both Commercial Consultants to the IPA. They co-authored the IPA’s Commercial Essentials Certificate and the IPA’s advanced course; “Creating Commercial Partnerships In New Business”. In 2023, they co-authored “Shift Happens,” the IPA’s report into in-housing. They are also course leaders for the APA’s Get Set for Growth programme.
