OUR STORY STARTS IN 2013

WE WERE A SINGLE CATEGORY WITHIN SOME EXISTING INDUSTRY AWARDS.

At the time, these were the only UK Awards to showcase the very best creative work being produced by in-house creative teams.

The awards grew organically year after year, but it was in 2019 when things changed.

It was clear that these awards were much needed and the trend for in-house creative teams was only growing. 

We rebranded and relaunched to become the Inside Out Awards. It was during this time that we started to become a real go-to destination for in-house creative teams to be recognised and rewarded for their work.

THE AWARDS WERE ORIGINALLY CREATED IN 2013 BY EMMA SEXTON

It was in 2021 when we started to introduce a monthly events programme designed to provide in-house creative leaders opportunities to hear from leading experts, learn from each other, share experiences, and be inspired. 

As we got to know our community of in-house creative leaders, we started to offer more exciting opportunities to connect the community, extend our activities, and welcome in-house creative teams from across Europe.

2023 sees the re-launch of Inside Out as it establishes itself as the first independent membership community to support in-house creative team leaders across the UK and also Europe. 

In 2022 we expanded our network to over 700 brands and built a community of over 100 in-house creative trailblazers.
