Background

Mali Okoi-Obuli is a Producer by trade and has been working in the media, advertising, and branded content space for almost 20 years.

Her career journey so far has taken her through the world of fashion, sports, tech, music, and lifestyle. Mali’s expertise is borne from an in-depth and varied production background, having worked in production on multiple levels. She has spent time as a line producer, an agency producer, a strategic production lead for global brands, and an in-house brand producer.

She has been lucky enough to pick up some prestigious awards along the way, alongside the honour of working with many of the world’s leading brands (including AbInBev, Red Bull, Nike, adidas, Google, Heinz, Netflix, Calvin Klein, Mercedes, Google, and Rolex), in realising their creative vision.

She is the Founder of newly formed OURHouse, a creative and strategically led production services agency, which is committed to producing elevated content – lovingly told through a cultural lens and collaboratively executed by best-in-class global talent. With production hubs established in the UK and the USA, the company is making some exciting plans to expand into West Africa.

Although she is a nomad at heart and produces campaigns all over the globe, Mali is currently based in the UK. Her family is scattered across Africa, the Caribbean, USA, and Canada, so she spends most of her free time chasing them around the world with her husband and daughter in tow.
